The BLDG-25 team is adding one more to our ranks! Please welcome Bob Camp as our newest employee!
Bob, how do you introduce yourself to people in a room full of people you don’t know?
I’m a creative person who enjoys challenges but loves navigating them even more. I have leveraged my creativity in guiding strategic public sector solutions, launching startups, and innovating within a large financial services enterprise. The best part about my job is watching strangers enjoy experiencing products I’ve helped build. I’m a dreamer who believes in continuous growth and learning, and I hope the best thing I will do will be the next thing I’m working on.
Why did you choose to work with BLDG-25?
Short answer – the people. Our team blends unique and specialized talent with proven experience delivering innovation in a variety of environments in startups, governments, and large enterprises. I believe we are uniquely positioned to partner with our clients to better understand their customers’ problems and deliver solutions best-fit to their needs. Moreover, we are happy and fun people who bring a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to our work and our clients’ problems.
What’s one emerging tech prediction you have for the future? Let’s get it here in writing!
I believe brand experiences will become even more immersive and unique as our online habits depart from the “endless scroll.” We will deepen the ways that we identify customers’ needs and continue to leverage emerging technologies to better engage them and solve their problems. The promise of these new experiences is to make our lives even better – and we can deliver them more effectively and in more personalized ways than ever before.
What’s the last book you read?
While my typical reading habits have me starting more books than finishing these days, I finally completed Walter Isaacson’s biography of Benjamin Franklin. It is a compelling portrait of the founding father showcasing his inventiveness, pragmatism, and imagination despite his unsavory flaws. If we are to believe that “manners maketh man,” then his life provides an interesting counter-balance! I am certainly left inspired to make a lasting impact on the world.
What are two truths and a lie about you?
I have never broken a bone, never had a cavity, and I have shared a meal with Bill Murray. I can say that my teeth remain undefeated and the man, myth, and legend really is that cool.
Any other things you want to share about yourself?
I will witness the Baltimore Orioles win the world championship, hopefully within my lifetime 🙂
